The Klubben nature reserve

Klubben is picturesquely located where the Rickleån river flows into the sea. Here, the Nettingforsen rapids present a spectacle that is unusual in more than one way. Few rivers have rapids or falls so close to their mouths. The rapids are also unaffected by clearance work to improve timber rafting.

Directions

With car from Umeå center: Follow the E4 heading north for about 40 km, turn right to Rickleå and Bäck. Follow the road for about 5 km and turn right after the bridge. Turn right again and follow the road until you get to the sea (approx. 5 km), the nature reserve is there.
