Lavvo Sami Art & Nature

Lavvo is a Sámi family business that produces Sámi jewellery and ceramics based on millennia-old models and new designs. Sami handicrafts in leather, horn, wood and bone. John and Anita Ponga are established Sámi visual artists and their art has been exhibited and shown internationally. Anita also writes books in Sami and both give lectures.

With car from Umeå center: Follow the E4 heading north for about 65 km, turn right to Hertsånger. Turn right and then turn left. Turn right again, Lavvo will be on your right.
